Southeast Asian Street Food

Instead of well-known tourist spots in the hearts of famed capitals, “Southeast Asian Street Food” takes viewers down to the lesser-known veins of Brunei, Malaysia, Myanmar, and the Philippines––their bustling avenues. By filming the different food staples found in the streets of these countries, along with the process of making and eating them, the documentary offers a glimpse into the everyday lives and experiences of Southeast Asians. This project demonstrates that even though the region is divided by vast seas and diverse cultural backgrounds, its people can have one thing in common at heart: a shared love for street food.
