The Contrasting Dream and Reality of Immigrants

Unspoken Voices: Ethics in Business

“Unspoken Voices” explores the importance of upholding ethics in business, featuring narrative essays centred around labour exploitation and workplace harassment. It highlights the emotional and physical toil migrant workers face in harsh working conditions and the sacrifices they make, for large corporations to keep costs low. Through the tales of young migrant workers, it exposes the inhumane treatment they endure in exchange for a hope of building a brighter future. For every low cost fabric made, someone's blood, sweat and tears came at an expense. Should corporations truly sacrifice human lives for profit?
