“SEA's Religion” provides a concise overview of the diverse religious history of Southeast Asia. Southeast Asia's diverse religious landscape from the Buddhist traditions of Thailand to the Islamic legacy of Indonesia are an amalgamation of the region's multicultural heritage. Yet, rising political nationalism, state supression and religious extremism threatens this peaceful co-existence. How can Southeast Asia protect its religious diversity while resisting the dangers of suppression and extremism?
