Project Siren: Fetishisation in Southeast Asia

Titled "Project Siren", the capstone project "Fetishization in SEA" explores the various stereotypes and clichés quite prevalent in Western movies and literature when it comes to portraying Southeast Asians. The website delves through the exoticization of Southeast Asian culture, the dehumanization of Southeast Asians, and the orientalist portrayals of cultures surrounding the SEA region. The project empowers people to speak up against such portrayals, encouraging people to raise the issue and inform others about Southeast Asian fetishization.
