This research paper offers a comprehensive overview of the ongoing energy crisis in Southeast Asia by highlighting our region’s lack of renewable energy generation methods. To present a factual contextualization of the issue, the paper uses case studies from other countries (such as Vietnam), while drawing on research from several energy organizations around the globe. Complete with practical future action recommendations, the paper provides clarity to the urgency of the crisis, and how we may contribute to solving it.
