Capstone Projects Cycle 3
Curated by Southeast Asian high school students Justice, Raffal, Aulia, Sovanlyda, and Kate, our partcipant's Capstone Projects from our 2023–2024 cycle can be found below!
Polarise & Alienate
As Southeast Asia continue to grapple with complex political and cultural tensions, harmony remains elusive and increasingly difficult to preserve. These projects consider the ways polarisation persists within the region, but also imagines new possibilities for connection and unity. What is the Southeast Asia we dream of in the future?
Rooted & Reimagined
Southeast Asia is a rich tapestry of different customs, cultures, and traditions. This melting pot that we, as Southeast Asians, consider home is deeply rooted in ancient traditions carried over for generations to come. As time goes on, we come to witness the ways in which cultures are appreciated and practiced in modern society, and how these cultures adapt to the emergence of modernisation.
Shrouded & Divided
Divided by borders and challenges, Southeast Asian countries face their individual obstacles as integral and intricate issues stem from the past. However, through bridging these gaps and unveiling the problems that each nation faces, the empowerment of individuals hold the key to a meaningful future.
